MAIIF annual meeting 2021-11-30
IPIAAM, through the Direction of Maritime Safety, participated in the annual meeting of the International Forum of Maritime Accident Investigators (MAIIF), held this year, due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, in an online format.
The meeting, which was attended by institutions from more than 50 countries, took place between November 16 and 18 this year and was an opportunity to debate some cross-cutting issues related to operational maritime safety, as well as define joint strategies for better prevention of accidents and maritime incidents.
Operational maritime safety depends on everyone who uses the sea.
