Cabo Verde is participating in the 11th AFI Aviation Week, taking place from 27 to 31 July 2026 in Cairo, Egypt. The country is represented by a delegation comprising the Civil Aviation Authority (AAC) and the IPIAAM, reflecting its national commitment to strengthening safety and enhancing international cooperation in the field of civil aviation.

This important event, organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and hosted by the Arab Republic of Egypt, brings together leaders, experts, and partners from the civil aviation sector to discuss the key challenges and priorities of the AFI (Africa–Indian Ocean) Region, while promoting regional cooperation, enhanced aviation safety, sustainability, and the development of the sector.

Cabo Verde´s participation in this forum reinforces the country´s commitment to regional and international cooperation, contributing to the promotion of an increasingly safe, efficient, and sustainable civil aviation sector.
