- Coordinating Officer of Aero naval activities at the Coast Guard;
- Commanding Officer of the Ocean Patrol Vessel - OPV “VIGILANTE”;
- Naval Units Commander of Coast Guard;
- Head of Naval Squadron of Coast Guard;
- Head of Coast Guard.
From 2013 to 2019:
- Harbour Master/Captain of Windward Ports at Maritime and Port Agency;
- President of National Search and Rescue Coordinating Committee - CNCSAR since July 2015 to May 2021;
- Single Point of Contact for the preparation and audit process of Cabo Verde under IMO Member State Audit Scheme in 2017;
From 2019 to present:
- Executive Director at the Board of Directors of the Institute for Prevention and Investigation of Aeronautical and Maritime Accidents, responsible for Maritime Sector.
